What if you could live someone else's life better than they ever did?
Madrid, 1951. Santiago Vallejo is a young man without roots — a forger, a watcher, a ghost. In Francoist Spain, where silence is safer than truth, Santiago survives by slipping into roles, voices, and shadows. Until one day, a wealthy industrialist, Don Gregorio Beltri, offers him a strange opportunity: travel to southern France and convince his exiled son, Julián, to come home and take over the family empire.

As Santiago observes him — studying his gestures, his manner of speech, his past, his secrets — a dangerous fascination grows. What begins as an assignment turns into obsession. Then imitation. And finally… replacement.
