The Alpha Train

The Alpha Train runs once a quarter, collecting Alphas that are nearly of age and ready to take over their packs before bringing them to the Alpha Academy. No Alpha can take on their pack if they haven’t passed the Alpha Academy, run by retired Alphas with the assistance of she-wolves who apply to serve at the Academy. For their efforts, they are allowed to take the same classes as the Alphas.

Christina Kneeland is an Alpha female who never found her mate. At twenty-eight, she’s been working on the Alpha Train for nearly two years to pay her way so her brother and Alpha, doesn’t have to support her.

Sebastian Webb is a retired Alpha who has been teaching young Alphas how to be the best they can be for four years. He needed something to do after his mate died and his son took over the pack. Becoming an instructor sounded like a good job and he’s never looked back.

For the last two years, Christina has been assigned to Alphas who were mated. They never last more than one semester, missing their mates too much to return. This semester, however, Christina is assigned to Alpha Sebastian. He’s unmated and for the first time since she started this job, her assigned Alpha is taking a vested interest in her, challenging her to be stronger, to be the Alpha that she is.

But assistants aren’t supposed to fall in love with instructors. What will happen when Christina loses her heart to a man she shouldn’t, a man who has shown her what her life could be, who has pushed her to be more than she thought she was. Will he accept her as a mate, or is she just another student to him, like all the Alphas in class?
