He knew how to shut down his brain and have fun. I don’t know what I wanted more: to be with him or to be him.

A day when writing about today doesn’t make me ache.
Until then, I’d rather just forget it.

They were so completely suspended in their own collective delusional reality

And I was tired, tired, tired, tired.

I was so tired—of this and everything else.

I was mad. And hurt. And confused

I was feeling so optimistic that I made a vow to myself then and there: I will be normal.

When my worries shut up, everything just feels right.

Why can’t I start my day when it’s still dark out?
