“You’re the boyfriend,”

“One day I’m going to make you a cake entirely made from crickets. And it’s going to be the best cake you ever ate.”

“It’ll probably be the last cake I ever eat.”

This is a kiss. It’s the kind of kiss where every part of my body melts simultaneously, and I’m worried that when we stop kissing, I might fall to the floor in a pile of goo. It’s that kind of kiss.

But a much larger part of me doesn’t want to die. There’s too much I want to do with my life.

always thought that I was drawn to Daisy because she’s so pretty and sweet and good and that she brought out the better parts of me. But now I know the truth. The reason I feel connected to Daisy is because she’s exactly like me.

“That sounds very nice,” I say.

And just like that, I have a boyfriend.

At least I finally have an answer as to why Tom is still single after all these years. He’s in love with a dead girl.

I don’t love Jake anymore. For a while, I hated him, but right now, I’m glad he’s here. If anyone can find out the truth about what happened to Bonnie, it’s this man.
