Tales of Space and Time is a collection of science fiction short stories and novellas that explore accounts from the distant past to the distant future: from the first human to ride a horse who becomes the leader of his tribe, to the life of a middle-class couple in a dystopian future.
These stories were all previously published in magazines and periodicals between 1897 and 1898, and first collected in this volume by Doubleday & McClure Co. in 1899.
