When a courier delivering prescription drugs to pharmacies is robbed and murdered, Portland police detective Parkinson Fealder is assigned the case. His partner, Tamara Berbieri, is simultaneously investigating the murder of a reserve police officer, and the cases start to converge. Park and Tami suspect the robbery was an inside job, and delve into the drugs’ supply chain. Before they can make an arrest, a veterinarian and his wife are also murdered. To solve these many-layered crimes, Park and Tami must think outside of the box, developing leads that help them topple a sinister hierarchy of villains.
