Blackshed: The Journey Home

This is a story based on the factual journey taken by Betts Blackshed to America from Trinidad to find the family that his father left during the War of 1812. Betts father had fought on the side of the British as a Marine during the war. After the death of his father and with the Civil War in America being over Betts began a journey to find his long lost family in America.
