Uninvited

I can’t expect any other person to be my soul oxygen. I can’t live as if my next breath depends on whether or not they give me enough air for my lungs not to be screaming in pain

God is good.

God is good to me.

God is good at being God.

And today is yet another page in our great love story.

Feelings are broken boards. Only truth is solid, unchanging, and stable through and through.

two core fears that feed a person’s sensitivity to rejection:

The fear of being abandoned
The fear of losing one’s identity

I’m forever held.
Completely loved
and always invited in.

With You, Jesus,
I’m forever safe.
I’m forever accepted.

Your soul was made to simply be with Me. And the more you are with Me, the more you will stop fearing what the world might take from you.

The spotlight never fixes our insecurities. It only magnifies what we thought popularity would cover up.

But if I really believed that God’s healing is more powerful than any hurt the world could ever hand me, I could trust God. I could trust His plans. I could move forward by saying, “Yet not what I will, but what You will.”

One step at a time. With the full assurance God is okay with me even when I’m not okay with me. And I realize, I can’t hold on to the desire to run and at the same time go where God wants to lead me
