Trenching at Gallipoli

This is a first-hand account of the Gallipoli campaign by a member of the Newfoundland Regiment that was involved in the fighting. This fact makes it stand out from many other books about the campaign as the Newfoundlanders considered themselves a separate entity from Canada. The author also describes in detail the dark story of the fighting against the Ottomans.
