Lieutenant General Jubal A. Early, Confederate States of America

Jubal Early (1816 1894) served under Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee during the Civil War. He is best known, however, for writing for the Southern Historical Society and helping espouse the “Lost Cause” view of the Civil War.
