Money: The Life and Fast Times of Floyd Mayweather (2018) profiles one of boxing’s most successful and controversial figures. The book offers an in-depth exploration of Mayweather’s career and personal life. It highlights his rapid rise, his fighting style, and the controversies surrounding his life outside the ring.

Dixon’s background as a seasoned boxing journalist lends depth to the book. He has spoken critically about boxing’s approach to brain injury and athlete welfare in his other work, including Damage: The Untold Story of Brain Trauma in Boxing. He challenges the sport to improve its handling of concussions and long-term health effects on fighters.

In interviews, Dixon has said, “When you talk about it to the old-timers… the reaction is often, ‘Ooh, [talking about brain trauma] is not good for the sport.’ Well, what’s also not good for the sport is all these guys struggling in life after boxing.”
