Michael Moffett is a professor, writer, and reserve Marine Corps infantry officer who served in Operation Desert Storm before returning to active duty with United States Central Command after the 9/11 attacks for the beginning of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2001. LtCol Moffett again returned to active duty with the Marines in 2010 as a field historian for Marine Corps University to document USMC efforts in Afghanistan, again, as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. A native Granite Stater, Professor Moffett teaches at New Hampshire Technical Institute and writes a column for the Weirs Times.
