If you are holding this devotional, you already know something about the gap between the man you are and the man you want to be, and you have probably tried to close that gap more than once. You have read devotionals before and abandoned more than a few in the middle of a busy season. You have heard sermons about prayer and felt the quiet shame of a man who knows he should pray more and does not. I wrote this devotional for that man, and I am not writing to him from a place of superiority.

This Christian devotional year is built around a specific number: 120. Across 12 months, that is 10 prayers each month, which works out to roughly 2 or 3 prayers a week—a rhythm that survives travel, overtime, and countless small emergencies that can destroy a daily habit. A man can miss a day in this system and get back on track without a wall of guilt.

This is a prayer and devotional guide, not simply a reading exercise. Every entry ends with a guided prayer you can read aloud, slowly and sincerely. These prayers are written the way real men pray, rather than the way they wish they prayed. The whole shape of an entry takes about 5 minutes—long enough to mean something and short enough to survive real life.

Inside, you will find:

120 guided prayers across 12 months, from identity to legacy

A Scripture reference and short teaching paragraph for every entry

A reflection prompt designed to push you toward action

Guidance on godly discipline, the battle within, and overcoming temptation

Encouragement for leading your home, loving your wife, and embracing the heart of a father

Practical tools like the three-minute prayer rhythm and family worship starter

A flexible mens prayer and devotional rhythm for busy seasons

This prayer devotional for men is also a meaningful resource for fathers who want to strengthen their faith and lead their families with humility. Whether you are looking for a daily devotional for fathers or a practical Christian devotional and prayer routine, these entries meet you where you are and help you keep moving forward.

This devotional will not shame you or use your failures as a stick to beat you into discipline. It will point you back to the God who has been faithful to millions of men before you and help you pray the way real men talk to a real God.
