Mark Cundy is a British adventurer and writer, born and raised in the county of Essex.He has lived and worked overseas in the United States, the Far East and across Europe. After 25 years away, he now lives back in his home county.During 2004/2005 he walked 5,500 miles across Europe, Australia and coast-to-coast across the USA. The story of this epic adventure is told in A Man and a Pram.Mark has appeared on local and national BBC and independent television and radio programmes, as well as radio and television appearances in Germany, Poland, Australia and the USA.He has undertaken several charitable walks raising thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK, the Air Ambulance Service and BBC Children in Need.Mark has also made many personal appearances across the UK, both at book signings and giving motivational talks.
