Irina Ahapieieva

Irina Ahapieieva is a Ukrainian writer, biographer. In 2017 she received the title of "Writer of the Year" in Ukraine for popularizing the ideas of freedom and gender equality.
She is a founder of the publishing house in the Czech Republic Kolvir s.r.o.
Member of the Union of Writers-Marinists of Ukraine.
She was born and grew up in Simferopol, where she graduated from the Law Academy.
In the year 2000 she gets into prison. She wrote about her stay in prison an autobiographical novel "Confession of a Women's Prison," which in 2016 won first place at the German International Literary Competition "Best Book of the Year" in the category of action-dramatic prose.
In 2017 she became a laureate of the German International Literary Competition "The Best Book of the Year" for the book "River of Memories".
In 2017, the novel "Islander" entered the long list of the Russian Prize.
