Strange things happen around 14-year-old Alva, but mostly when she gets angry. The toaster catches fire, and the weather suddenly turns to lightning and thunder. When she starts at a new school, things go completely wrong. The meanest girl in the class steps way over the line when she finds out that the boy they both like is interested in Alva.
Luckily, Alva quickly makes good friends, and together they discover that the world holds more than what meets the eye.
Magic Awakens is the first book in the Witch Sisters series. A fast-paced ride full of ruthless enemies, first crushes, and a friendship that can survive anything—with a heavy dose of magic.
