Ivan and Peter Smotsky are descendants of a long line of wizards who can allow the living to talk to recently deceased family members. However, one of their ancient family's many covenants prohibits family members from performing this ritual for them. But after the untimely death of Ivan and Peter's father, the two are forced to consider whether abiding by this rule is worth more than ending it all.
